Privacy Policy

Driva helps you learn the language, pass the Romanian driving-theory exam and earn your professional atestat. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app. We do not show ads, and we do not sell your data.

Who we are

The Driva mobile app is operated by AUTOMAXIS ("we", "us"). For any privacy question, contact contact@dictando.ro.

What we collect

• Account details — if you create an account, we store your email address and display name. You can sign up with email, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
• Learning progress — your XP, streak, exam scores, certificates and app preferences. This is saved on your device and, when you are signed in, synced to your account via Google Cloud Firestore.
• Job applications — if you apply to a driver job listed in the app, we store the details you submit (such as name and contact information) so the employer can respond.

What we do NOT do

• No third-party advertising.
• No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and no cross-app tracking.
• We never sell or rent your personal data.

How we use your data

We use it only to provide the app: to save and sync your progress, keep you signed in, issue certificates, and deliver job applications to the relevant employer.

Storing your data

Data lives on your device and, for signed-in users, in Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore). Google acts as our data processor; see Google's privacy practices at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data until you ask us to delete it. To delete your account and all synced data, email contact@dictando.ro from your account address, or delete local data anytime by removing the app.

Children

Driva is rated 4+ and is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect more personal data than described above, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
